Job One Announces New Board of Directors Member

Independence/Jackson County, MO — December 11, 2017 —Job One, a nonprofit organization that has been providing employment services for individuals with disabilities in the Kansas City Metro area for 50 years recently recruited Cherish Caputo as the newest member of their Board of Directors. Cherish Caputo is a Business Applications Project Manager with Visit KC. She begins her 3-year term on the Job One Board effective immediately. Ms. Caputo has served on the Job One Marketing and Business Development Committee since its origination in 2016. She is also the daughter of a Job One employee and is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities. “Ms. Caputo brings a personal understanding of the needs and challenges individuals with disabilities face in the workforce. In addition, her professional expertise has been – and will continue to be – a huge asset as we progress with our long-term strategic growth plans,” states, Job One President and C.E.O., Aaron Martin. “We are thrilled to have her aboard!”

Ms. Caputo is an accomplished technical analyst and project manager with a dynamic skill set that she hopes to bring to her new board position at Job One. She has been recognized for strategic planning, problem-solving, and leading strong teams that exceed organizational goals by generating increased revenues, reducing expenses, and an enhancing client experience. She was selected to be a college professor, teaching classes on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Content Management Systems (CMS), as well as other critical business and operational topics. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University -Sacramento, her master’s degree with a Management Information Systems concentration from Baker University and recently obtained her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
