Job One, a social enterprise that has been providing employment services for individuals with disabilities in the Kansas City Metro area for over 50 years, is continuing momentum to fulfill their mission by recruiting new leadership to their board of directors. John Fellows, Finance Director for Broadridge and head of revenue accounting for one of their business units in Kansas City, Missouri, is the newest addition to the Job One board.
Mr. Fellows has over 30 years’ experience in professional finance, with roles spanning positions for industry-leading firms including Koch Industries, Olin Corporation, DST Systems and Sogeti. “John’s expertise will be a great asset to our organization,” states Job One President and C.E.O., Aaron Martin. “As Job One continues to grow our employment services and evolve in our mission of expanding job opportunities and choices for individuals with disabilities, John’s in-depth financial insight can help ensure our long-term sustainability.”
John Fellows is a proud native of Independence, Missouri where he graduated from St. Mary’s High School along with his two brothers and two sisters. He attended Rockhurst University where he graduated with an accounting degree in 1989. Later, he graduated from Webster University with an MA, and an MBA from Rockhurst. As a local executive, John became aware of the valuable commercial services Job One offers businesses, while also fulfilling a social mission of providing employment opportunities for individuals who happen to have disabilities. He is looking forward to taking an active role in supporting Job One’s continued success in these endeavors.
