POSITION SUMMARY 

The Project Manager is the Supervisor at AbilityOne account. The Project Manager is responsible for knowing and implementing the Scope of Work as defined by the contract while ensuring profitability. Must maintain positive relationships with tenants and management at assigned site. Managing and supervising the work force positively and providing training and coaching for each employee, ensuring each employee meets or exceeds their potential. 

 

EDUCATION 

High school graduate. 

A minimum of 2 years of college strongly preferred.  

 

EXPERIENCE 

Three years supervisory experience.  

Proven success in managing a custodial operation. 

Proven ability and/or willingness to work well with diverse constituencies, respect the rights and dignity of people with disabilities and willingness to advocate on their behalf. 

Contract management preferred. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS 

Must be adept in the use of Microsoft particularly Outlook, Set-Works, Paycor, Word and Excel  

 

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES 

Fork Lift Certified if applicable 

First Aid & CPR Certified 

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

Knowledge of custodial industry standards   

Strong, positive attitude and work ethic desired. 

Outstanding people skills and high emotional intelligence 

Must pass background check and pre-employment screening by Job One and government entities, including drug test.  

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Exhibit support of and adherence to P.E.O.P.L.E. Values Statement

  • Promptly complete all assigned trainings 
  • Understanding and working within the budget of the contract consistently fulfilling all requirements. 
  • Know and perform all duties required in the specific contract. Flexible work schedule as needed 
  • Physical work tasks such as stripping floors, shoveling snow, shampooing carpets, etc. 
  • Ensure positive communication with the Director of Contracts and notify the director if any concerns or problems arise, in a timely manner 
  • Understand and implement the specific Scope of Work on a daily basis 
  • Ensure all work is completed as required in the Scope of Work 
  • Ensure all quality standards are met consistently 
  • Contact the Director of Contracts for any requests outside the Scope of Work 
  • Provide excellent training, supervision and leadership to all subordinates on a consistent basis 
  • Ensure quality inspections and other requested documents are completed in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Document case notes and incidents in Setworks 
  • Ensure subordinate staff understands their responsibilities and performs them efficiently  
  • Facilitate a strong working relationship with the COR/COTR 
  • Maintain positive relationship with customer 
  • Promote and uphold company ethics 
  • Ensure the 70/30 supervision rule is followed on a consistent basis 
  • All other duties as assigned
