What is your “why” for being a Board Member? My husband, Ben, and I are the parents of twins with disabilities. We want a world without barriers for all people, especially those with disabilities.
What do you enjoy about being a board member? The unlimited stories of Job One clients overcoming obstacles and finding success! Our clients are empowered to explore their interests which typically leads to finding joy in opportunities that they never would have been introduced to overwise. The Job One staff treats every client with so much respect and dignity. We truly care and share in our client’s joy — even in the smallest moments.
Do you have a favorite Job One memory? What is it? At the 2022 Cause-ino Night, Kristina spoke about the positive impact that Job One has made in her life. Her story combined with the courage it took to share in front of a large crowd was powerful. In that moment, everyone in the room became aware of how Job One is changing the lives of the people we serve.
